Little Aesthetics was a group show at Twentybythirty, a very small gallery in Melbourne, Australia. The show included work by Nick Brown (Curator), Lauren Cross, Sophie Dimov, Danielle Geppert, Spiro Manolopoulos, Daniel Price, Mark Rodda, Kristina Tsoulis-Reay and David Wlazlo.

Nick Brown wanted to know if you could have a group show in a miniature exhibibiton space, in doing so he created a miniature gallery, with L.E.D. spot-lighting and parquetry floor, miniature plinths and titles. Works to be included in the show were to be no more than 60x40mm.

Diversification of the type of work in the show was countered by consistency of scale. Little Aesthetics had the kind of mish-mash diversity of a state run gallery. The loose brick (actual size) roughness of the space was institutionalised by Nick Brown, turning the space into an under-scale, international style gallery.
